Cornwall Exchange

LOOKING FOR…

The Exchange is the place for any resident of the Town of Cornwall, CT, to list anything you would like to give away, swap, or ask for. For example, maybe you've got a computer printer you no longer need. Maybe you want to swap a kid's sled for some cross country ski boots. Maybe you want storage space in someone's barn. Maybe you're looking for tennis partners, or scrabble players, or a car ride to New York City. Just send an e-mail to david144@optonline.net using "Cornwall Exchange" as the subject and we'll post it on our website.
Listings will be posted for two months, but if you succeed earlier, please let us know! Sorry, no commercial transactions -- but you can find those in the Classified or MarketPlace.

I have 50 count brand new coffee pods (Timothy's Brand Decaf) that I accidentally ordered from Amazon. They are brand new but I cannot return them as they are a grocery item. If you have the machine for them and would like them, they are yours! 672-2715. [Posted November 11, 2009]

I'm looking for a Manhattan apartment for March 28-April 10, 2010, or any part of that period, for relatives visiting from Germany. In exchange, we can make available an apartment in Arlington, VA and/or in Berlin, Germany (at a time to be discussed). Please call 672-6423 or e-mail me. [Posted November 11, 2009]

I have the following items to give away: 1. Two small-sized window air conditioners in good working order. 2. A double-bed frame, walnut, traditional colonial style with pineapple top posts. It has a few minor scratches that can be repaired with a matching wax stick. 3. Two Bissell Lift-Off bagless upright vacuums with lift-off cannisters. Each needs minor repair - one to the suction, the other to the power switch. 4. A small, vintage, Mission-style library desk, with one drawer and side bookshelves, made of quartersawn oak.
